Puerto Nuevo Terminals Agreement Amendment to Take Effect

An amendment to the Puerto Nuevo Terminals LLC Cooperative Working Agreement (PNT) (Agreement No. 201292-002) will become effective May 18, 2020.

The amendment was filed at the Commission on April 3, 2020 by agreement parties Luis Ayala Colon and Puerto Rico Terminals.  Among other things, the amendment clarifies that the parties to PNT are not effecting a merger or acquisition and changes PNT’s role so that it will operate as a joint shared terminal management entity and agent for Luis Ayala Colon and Puerto Rico Terminals.

The underlying agreement being amended became effective on August 29, 2019.
