National Shipper Advisory Committee Holding Meeting

The National Shipper Advisory Committee (NSAC/Committee) will hold a meeting on March 30, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Eastern) at the Miami-Dade Beacon Council located at 80 SW 8th Street, Suite 2400, Miami, FL 33130. 

The meeting will also stream live on  the fmc.gov.

The Committee’s agenda items will include the election of a Chair and Vice Chair. The Committee will also receive an update from Commissioner Carl Bentzel and from each of its subcommittees. The Committee may receive proposals for recommendations to the Federal Maritime Commission and may vote on these recommendations. Any proposed recommendations will be available for the public to view in advance of the meeting on the NSAC’s website, https://www.fmc.gov/industry-oversight/national-shipper-advisory-committee/.(None were provided by NSAC as of 3/29/2023) 

To attend the in-person session, submit a request to nsac@fmc.gov and include “REGISTER FOR NSAC MEETING” in the subject line.  Public seating is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis for those who register in advance. 

The deadline for members of the public to register to attend the meeting in-person is Friday, March 24, at 5 pm Eastern Time.
